I had so much fun participating in Beat the Backlist Challenge last year, hosted by Austine from NovelKnight. I went far beyond my goal, reading 42 backlist books out of my original 15 goal. Now that I know what to expect, I’m still having a hard time on deciding on my goal. I don’t want to read as many books this year, since I want to focus on other things like writing. BUT, I’m also not going to any conferences this year, so I might actually be able to put a nice dent in my backlist. Because of that, my goal for this year is to read 50 backlist books. It’s ambitious, but what fun is a challenge if it’s not ambitious?
My team will also be the Book Bards!
I’ll be keeping track of my list here. Good luck to everyone participating!
