This meme was created by Pen to Paper. Each week we will share a book that has been recently added to our wishlist or has been on it for ages. I’m taking this loosely and sharing books that I can’t wait to read.
This Star Won’t Go Out is a collection of journals, stories, and letters from Esther Earl, who passed away in 2010. She contributed a lot to the Nerdfighter community and it’s always so heartbreaking to hear John Green talk about how much of an impact she made on him. I’ve enjoyed learning about her through his and Hanks vlogs, and I would really love to learn more. She seemed like such a kind, loving, and awesome human. My husband bought this book a while ago, and I’d love to be able to find the time to take it off the shelf and read it.
